- DEFINITIONS
“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.
“Property” means Tenterfield Accommodation White Rose, Unit 1 or Red Rose Unit 2 located at
130 Douglas St. Tenterfield and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
“Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.
“Guests” means the persons who “stay overnight” in the Property during the Booking.
“Visitor” means a person a Guest permits to “visit” the Property during the Booking.
- ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY
- Payment for the accommodation fee and security bond constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.3. BOOKING
- Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay at the Property over-night, to a maximum of two (2). The property is not child friendly and suited to adults only. If any additional guests stay at the property your stay may be terminated immediately without refund. No camping or motor homes are permitted in the yard of the property.
- PETS
- As much as we love pets they are Not allowed In or Around the Property or its Grounds at any time.
- CHECK IN / OUT
- Check-in time is not before 2.00pm on the arrival date.
• Check out time is not later than 10.00am on departure date. - You must notify Management of expected arrival time and your mobile or contact number at the time of booking.
- Check-in / check-out and key collection / return procedure will be confirmed in the Cottage Booking
Confirmation unless arrangements have been made prior to arrival.
- PAYMENT
To secure a booking we required “full payment” (100%) in AUD paid into the specified bank account to cover stay duration. Bookings are not confirmed until the payment is received. Credit card surcharge (at cost) will be added to the nightly accommodation charge which will be the sum Visa or Master card charge us. Circa 1.7%, Nov 2017.
To avoid the credit card surcharge we welcome payment by EFT to our ANZ Bank Account,

• Payment of the amount due must be received in Australian Dollars, net of bank or other transaction charges.
- SECURITY BOND
- A Security Bond of $100.00 for White Rose Cottage or $150.00 for Red Rose Cottage is required at the time of Booking and will be refunded to your designated bank account or credit card once our property has been inspected and deemed to be left in a state similar to your arrival. We “aim” to process any refund due within 2 working days of your agreed departure date. Please ensure you provide Tenterfield Accommodation with your Bank Account details on or prior to your departure.
- Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the bond. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage, un-fare wear and tear, chips, scratches, excess cleaning requirements or additional guests beyond those declared.8. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION
- If you wish to vary or cancel the Booking, please contact us immediately @ wentwortharch@bigpond.com
or 0417 270 800 - If you cancel the Booking with 7 days or more notice, you will receive full refund less $50.00 administration fee.
If you cancel the booking with 7 days or less notice, 100% of the accommodation charge will be retained.
This condition is applied to safeguard against not being able to relet the cottage at short notice.
- Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made via EFT to your nominated bank account or credit card.
- A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of nights stay will be a treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those nights. We have a minimum stay policy of two (2) nights
- An administration charge of $50.00 will be charged for any booking variation or cancellation.
- UNAVAILABILITY
- If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances outside of Tenterfield Accommodation’s control (e.g. fire, storm, damage, interruption of services etc.) then Management will inform you as soon as possible and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any moneys paid will be refunded in full.
- PARTIES & FUNCTIONS
- Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited at all times and to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of the Property, neighbouring properties and their residents.
- LINEN AND TOWELS
- Tenterfield Accommodation supplies linen, pillows, bed coverings, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bath room (wet towels) on departure. Further linen may be hired through Management.
- YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- You must comply with all applicable Tenterfield Accommodation House Rules and all instructions from Management and the caretakers of the Property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and peaceful enjoyment of the Property, neighbouring properties and their residents.
- You are responsible for damage, breakages, un-fare wear and tear, chips, scratches, theft and loss of Property and any part of it during your stay and must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost for (at Management’s discretion) damage rectification, breakages, un-fare wear and tear, chips, scratches, theft and loss of Property and any part of it during your stay.
• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security services and other expenses. - Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
- Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs over and above the normal cleaning fee which will be deducted from the security bond or charged to your credit card.
- All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived
- Departure – the property shall be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. Keys to be returned to Management or the on-site key safe.
- We provide one set of keys to the cottage. You are responsible for safe keeping and return of accommodation keys. Replacement keys and lock re-keying will be levied at $50.00 additional charge.
- Smoking is not permitted in the Property what so ever.
- PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS
- In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform Management at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.
- Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Tenterfield Accommodation Management prior to departure from the Property.
- Failure to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability of Tenterfield Accommodation Management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.
- Loss – the owner/s take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property. We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since Tenterfield Accommodation Management is not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at the property.Variations to any of the terms and conditions may only be made by prior arrangement with the owner in writing.
