Two individual fully self-contained historic cottages hand built of local stone around 1870, are ready for your escape to the country. The cottages have been renovated to provide stylish, yet comfortable accommodation, whilst retaining many original features. They are located in a quiet area of Tenterfield, yet only a short stroll into town. Tenterfield has plenty to do with museums, coffee shops, great food, boutique stores and its own heritage listed country cinema.
Escape at any time of the year, Tenterfield has an English style climate with four distinct seasons. Tenterfield has mild spring when the gardens burst in to flower, alpine summers with little humidity, beautiful autumn colours with many deciduous trees and of course cold winters with crisp sunny days, frosts and even the occasional sprinkling of snow.
Tenterfield is ideally located in the New England Area just over 30 minutes south of Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt. From Brisbane it is a leisurely drive down the New England Highway and from Byron Bay travel through gorgeous countryside making it the perfect country escape for a weekend or longer.
Much thought and attention to detail has been given to ensure your stay is a memorable one and we hope you will visit soon.
